By accessing or using All About Material, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you use the platform for a company or practice, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into these terms. The platform is intended for professional, educational and business use by architects, designers, specifiers, students, manufacturers, suppliers and related users. It is not intended for children under 18.
3. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate information, keep account details current, protect login credentials and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures.
We may review, restrict or suspend accounts where information is misleading, security is compromised or these terms are breached.
4. Our platform role
All About Material provides discovery, organisation, comparison and communication tools. Unless expressly stated otherwise, we are not the manufacturer, seller, distributor, installer or professional adviser for listed products.
Quote requests and enquiries are invitations to communicate. Any samples, quotations, orders, payments, delivery commitments, warranties or project contracts are agreed directly between the user and the relevant brand. We are not a party to those transactions.
5. Product information and specifications
Brands are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their profiles, images, prices, claims and technical information. Product details may change and displayed pricing may be indicative. Before specification or purchase, users must verify current dimensions, performance, certifications, suitability, availability, pricing, taxes, lead times, installation requirements and warranty terms with the relevant brand and qualified project advisers.
6. Content and intellectual property
The platform design, software, branding and original editorial content are owned by or licensed to the platform operator and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Product names, logos, images and documents may belong to their respective brands.
Brands grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, format, display and promote submitted profile and product content for operating and marketing the platform. Users may use public information for legitimate project research but may not scrape, republish, resell or systematically copy the platform without permission.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse accounts; submit unlawful, deceptive or infringing content; impersonate another person; upload malicious code; interfere with security; harvest personal information; send spam; manipulate reviews or approvals; or use automated tools to extract substantial platform content without written permission.
8. Third-party websites and services
Brand websites, downloads and other external services are controlled by third parties. We are not responsible for their availability, security, content, privacy practices or commercial terms. Review the third party’s policies before sharing information or entering a transaction.
9. Availability and disclaimers
We aim to keep the platform useful and available, but features may change, be interrupted or contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, the platform is provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees that every listing, specification, brand response or external service will be complete, current or suitable for a particular project.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the platform operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from reliance on product information, dealings with brands, interrupted access, lost project data or third-party services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, remove listings or preserve relevant records where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, investigation or enforcement of these terms.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the platform or legal requirements change. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of India. Subject to mandatory legal rights, disputes will be handled by the competent courts having jurisdiction over the operator’s registered office in India.
