The Air Master AFBD-3, SIDE-FLO model Flowbar Diffuser is specially designed for hidden flange, ceiling-mounted applications. The side and center flanges remain completely invisible for both single and double slot openings, leaving a high-class black opening that blends seamlessly into contemporary architectural interiors. It efficiently handles large air volumes per slot opening without increasing the pressure drop or NC level compared to regular slot diffusers. The SIDE-FLO option features an adjustable flat deflector profile that can be moved horizontally (left or right) to discharge air in a horizontal pattern, allowing the air to attach itself to the ceiling via the Coanda effect. Deflectors are sandwiched between spring-loaded U-Channels for smooth operation, and special side deflectors channel airflow to reduce pressure drops and noise levels.
